About the Role

We're seeking a Senior Director to lead our Product Design Team in shaping the future of user experience across our products.

This is a unique opportunity to drive design strategy and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet user needs while pushing boundaries with AI.

As Senior Director, you'll build and lead a team of talented product designers, setting a vision for user experience that's intuitive, powerful, and empowering.

You'll work closely with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to ensure designs not only meet user needs but also translate complex capabilities into clear, compelling experiences.

  • Design Strategy - Define and drive the holistic design vision for our products, ensuring consistency and quality across internal and external applications.
  • Team Leadership - Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Collaborate with cross-functional leaders in product management, engineering, and data science to align on product strategy, goals, and roadmaps.
  • User Advocacy - Advocate for the user through research, testing, and feedback, ensuring design decisions are informed by a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent.
  • 12+ years of experience in product design within a technology or product-centric company.
  • Proven experience leading a team of designers who design and ship AI-powered products or features.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Previous experience working on AI-powered products and/or curiosity about the rapidly evolving landscape and its impact on design and user experience.
