Lead Cloud Engineering Specialist

This is a challenging role for someone who wants to excel in Cloud Engineering. The ideal candidate will have experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design, develop, and deliver software solutions using cloud-based technologies.
  2. Participate in the implementation of new systems, develop strategic thinking, and develop processes, tools, and frameworks to help ensure effectiveness across teams.
  3. Be responsible for the analysis, design, development, and delivery of software solutions that meet customer needs.
  4. Define requirements for new applications and customizations, adhering to standards, processes, and best practices.
  5. Plan and execute maintenance, upgrades, and migrations activities in different environments as Dev, Stage, and Prod.
  6. Design and develop resilient scalable infrastructure that avoids downtime and service interruptions.
  7. Interface with external logging, monitoring, and security vendors.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Expertise in AWS Cloud, developing solution offerings for new and existing Cloud projects.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, managing large-scale Kubernetes clusters.
  • Infrastructure as Code Experience, demonstrating advanced programming methodologies used to augment Terraform using Python, bash, or Go.
  • Experience with Kops or Rancher or any equivalent provided cluster, alternate CNIs, and managing scalability of the cluster.
  • Expertise in Kubernetes cluster backup and restoration techniques and tools.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
