Warehouse Operations Manager Job Description

The Warehouse Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and retail functions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the entire retail operation and warehouse management, ensuring seamless coordination between teams.
  • Manage logistics and last mile delivery functions for any ecommerce brand or platform.
  • Responsible for handling invoicing & E-waybilling, transporter billing, and reconciliations.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly reviews of current processes using operational metrics and reports.
  • Lead the core team of warehouse operations retail and oversee inventory management.
  • Inspect goods for damages and discrepancies, shortening inventory received at store and vice versa.
  • Generate MIS reports and circulate to respective departments.

Our Expectations:

  • Ensure SOP adherence strongly across all warehouse operations.
  • Negotiate and handle day-to-day operations with 3rd party operators for logistics and last mile delivery.
  • Coordinate closely with stores team and warehouse team for smooth operation.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing retail and last mile delivery functions.
  • Strong leadership skills to lead the warehouse operations retail team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to drive process improvements.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
