Job Title: Principal Control Systems Engineer

Job Description:

The successful candidate will lead the development of control systems and design of control architecture, including algorithms, PLC Logics, cable/wire routing, control panels, hardware integration, HMI/SCADA integration, etc. while ensuring compliance with global quality and safety standards.

  • Develop cohesive and optimised solutions/products by merging mechanical, electrical, control systems along with high level software (WCS, WES, FMS).
  • Oversight of product development, simulation, digital twin and key project execution, including resource planning and timelines to support business strategy.
  • Evaluation, selection and integration of different automation components (PLCs, sensors, vision, network hardware etc.) for product development, enhancement and cost optimisation.

About The Role:

  • To oversee documentation processes, including SOPs, design reviews, approvals, and product manuals.
  • Implementation of best practices in Agile and other R&D workflows to ensure transparency and traceability.
  • Conduct performance reviews for team members and build succession plans with a view to create organisational capability and technical depth in team.
Key Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have 20+ years of overall experience with exposure to PLC, Sensors, all types of Plcs and Sensors, along with Product Development of electrical autonomous moving parts/equipment and wiring.
