The Managed Services Cross Technology Engineer is an entry-level engineering role that provides a managed service to clients. This role is responsible for ensuring that our clients' IT infrastructure and systems remain operational through proactive identification, investigation, and resolution of technical incidents and problems. Our goal is to deliver zero missed service level agreement conditions.

This role focuses on first-line support for standard and low-complexity incidents and service requests, spanning multiple technology domains such as Cloud, Security, Networking, Applications, and Collaboration. The role may also contribute to project work as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Must have at least 1 year of experience in IT management or application performance management.
  • Should have at least 1 year's experience in one of the Unix-based operating systems, such as Linux, AIX, Solaris, or HPUX.
  • Must have knowledge of Docker, Cassandra, and other relevant technologies.
  • Should be familiar with basic database tasks such as MySQL, Oracle, or MSSQL Server.
  • Good to have exposure to Flink or other stream processing frameworks.
  • Good to have knowledge of Nomad, Consul, Couchbase, KeyCloak, and HAProxy.
  • Should have at least 1 year's experience in one of the database systems.
  • Must be able to write and troubleshoot scripts independently in Shell, Bash, Perl, or SQL.
  • Exposure to one or more of the following business domains is a plus.
  • Should be able to create and run basic database SQL queries or stored procedures.
  • Must be able to gather requirements from customers and translate them into clear SOW documents.
  • Knowledge of database tuning and data lifecycle management is a plus.
  • Basic system administrator skills, including shell scripting and automation.
  • Experience with Windows Server operating system and administration skills is a plus.
  • Experience working on distributed enterprise software products.
  • Prior development background in J2EE or .Net stack is a strong plus.
