Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Application Packaging Specialist to support the packaging and testing of applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with application deployment tools like PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT) and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).

The engineer will collaborate closely with stakeholders and IT operations teams to ensure reliable, secure, and compliant application delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repackage applications into MSI, MST, or App-V formats
  • Create application packages using PSADT tool
  • Test and validate application packages in lab and user acceptance testing (UAT) environments
  • Document packaging steps, testing results, and installation guidelines
  • Deploy through SCCM and resolve packaging-related issues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Functional Skills/Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of Windows Operating System and Windows Installer technology
  • Highly experienced in packaging tools like Admin Studio, InstallShield, Orca, and troubleshooting tools like PicTaker, Beyond Compare, ACT
  • Experience in handling packages with drivers, certificates, services, permissions
  • Expertise in PowerShell scripting & PSADT
  • Experience in SCCM for deployment
