Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Identity Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Identity and Access Management (IAM) group, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SailPoint solutions.

  • SailPoint Solutions: Design, implement, and maintain provisioning, lifecycle automation, access certifications, and self-service capabilities.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and automate end-to-end pipelines to deploy SailPoint configurations, connectors, workflows, and rules across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Custom Connectors: Build custom connectors/integrations to enterprise systems, APIs, and identity protocols.
  • Secure Code: Author secure, maintainable code using Java, BeanShell, JavaScript, or Shell scripting for rule, workflow, and report logic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement SailPoint solutions for identity management, including provisioning, access certifications, and self-service capabilities.
  • Develop and automate CI/CD pipelines for deploying SailPoint configurations, connectors, workflows, and rules across environments.
  • Build custom connectors/integrations to enterprise systems, APIs, and identity protocols.
  • Author secure, maintainable code using Java, BeanShell, JavaScript, or Shell scripting for rule, workflow, and report logic.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years in Identity & Access Management with significant hands-on practice building and operating SailPoint solutions.
  • Proven experience in CI/CD and DevOps practices, implementing automated pipelines to support code migration and deployments.
  • Technical fluency in scripting and development (Java, BeanShell, JavaScript, Shell), and integration with directory services, cloud platforms, and APIs.
  • Solid working knowledge of IAM lifecycle processes—Joiner/Mover/Leaver, RBAC modeling, access certifications—and regulatory compliance considerations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working within large-scale financial services or regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with overall CommBank engineering frameworks such as Continuous Delivery pipelines and culture of automation and quality.
  • Relevant SailPoint certifications (IdentityIQ Engineer, IdentityNow Implementation Professional).
