Senior Software Engineering Manager Position

The Senior Software Engineering Manager will lead a team of engineers responsible for building and scaling software systems that power our mobility platform.

This role requires deep expertise in software engineering, particularly in Java and backend systems, along with experience designing distributed architectures and working with large-scale data.

  1. Manage and mentor a team of software engineers to deliver platform services and scalable software systems.
  2. Drive architectural design and implementation of backend services, APIs, and data-integrated solutions using Java and related technologies.
  3. Collaborate closely with product managers and architects to align technical solutions with product strategy and business outcomes.
  4. Ensure high standards for code quality, software reliability, and maintainability across the team's deliverables.
  5. Champion engineering best practices and foster a culture of accountability, growth, and collaboration.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of industry experience, looking for a seasoned leader from Java background.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Java, with strengths in system design, data modeling, performance optimization, and backend development.
  • Strong software architecture skills with experience in distributed systems, service design, and data processing at scale.
  • Proven ability to hire and retain exceptional engineering talent, fostering a high-performing team culture.
  • Experienced mentor and coach, with a track record of developing engineers and supporting career growth.
