Expert Documentalist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Documentation Specialist to create and revise technical documents that meet the highest quality standards.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with expertise in documentation formats such as XML or SGML. As a Technical Documentation Specialist, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive documentation that supports our business objectives.

• Create and revise Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs), Illustrated Parts Catalogues (IPC), Service Bulletins, and Temporary Revisions for electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Write procedures and functional descriptions by interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and circuit diagrams.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards (e.g., ATA iSpec 2200, S1000D), regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA), and internal quality guidelines.
• Familiarity with structured documentation formats such as XML or SGML.
• Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Illustrator, IsoDraw CAD Process, or CorelDRAW for technical illustrations.
• Strong knowledge of ATA 100, ATA iSpec 2200, S1000D, and Simplified Technical English.
• Understanding of S1000D data module structure and CGM/SVG integration for illustrations.
• Experience working with CAD tools like CATIA V5, UG (NX), and SolidWorks to generate accurate visuals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., English, Communications, Technical Writing).
• 3+ years of experience in technical writing, editing, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and specialized tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud.
