Seeking an experienced ETL testing professional with expertise in cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in validating data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and optimizing ETL workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive ETL test cases based on business and technical requirements.
  • Validate data migration, transformation, and loading processes across Snowflake and related platforms.
  • Perform data profiling and validation using SQL and Snowflake utilities.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business analysts to understand data requirements.
  • Automate test scripts and maintain reusable components for test cases.
  • Conduct end-to-end testing for cloud data warehouse implementations.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot data inconsistencies or anomalies.
  • Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect logs.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong hands-on experience in ETL testing (Informatica, Talend, or similar).
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience with Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse.
  • Proficient in writing complex SQL queries for data validation.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, star/snowflake schemas.
  • Experience with data quality, data reconciliation, and validation techniques.
  • Hands-on with defect tracking tools like JIRA or similar.
