The Senior Analytics Expert will play a pivotal role in delivering high-impact analytics solutions across the UK and Ireland.

This position focuses on bespoke report building, dashboard development, and advanced data analysis using cutting-edge technologies such as Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Python, SQL, and R. Experience in data science is highly advantageous, including the application of machine learning and predictive modelling to solve complex business problems.

  1. Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, driving business insights and decision-making.
  • Perform advanced data analysis and visualisation to support strategic business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and queries using SQL and Python, ensuring seamless data flow.
  • Apply data science techniques such as predictive modelling, classification, clustering, and regression to uncover actionable insights and drive business growth.
  • Perform feature engineering and data preprocessing to prepare datasets for machine learning workflows, leveraging statistical knowledge and expertise.
  • Build, validate, and tune machine learning models using tools such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or similar frameworks, ensuring model efficacy.
  • Deploy models into production environments and monitor their performance over time, ensuring consistent value delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business questions into data science problems, communicating findings in a clear, actionable manner.
  • Use statistical techniques and hypothesis testing to validate assumptions and support informed decision-making.
  • Document data science workflows and maintain reproducibility of experiments and models, adhering to best practices.
  • Support the Analytics Manager in delivering analytics projects and mentoring junior experts.
  1. Qualifications & Skills
  • Professional certifications (preferred or in progress): Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300), SnowPro Core Certification (Snowflake), Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, AWS Certified: Data Analytics – Specialty.
  • Strong technical expertise in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, SQL, Python, and R, with hands-on experience in building and deploying machine learning models.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and AWS Glue, with ability to integrate multiple tools and technologies.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
