Chief Cybersecurity Architect

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Professional to design and implement robust security measures for our systems, networks, and data. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and security best practices.
The successful candidate will work closely with IT, DevOps, and Compliance teams to ensure seamless cybersecurity across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement security solutions to protect IT infrastructure, applications, and data.
- Monitor networks and systems for security breaches, anomalies, and threats.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans; lead response to security incidents.
- Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and other security tools.
- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to integrate security into DevSecOps practices.
- Maintain and update security documentation, runbooks, and technical reports.
- Educate employees and developers on cybersecurity awareness and secure coding practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong understanding of network, application, and cloud security concepts.
- Experience with SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and vulnerability scanners.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
- Familiarity with tools such as Splunk, Tenable, Qualys, Wireshark, etc.
- Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001) and regulatory compliance.
Desirable Skills and Certifications:
- Relevant certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, OSCP, or GIAC.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience in Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices.
- Knowledge of container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Zero Trust Architecture.
