Cloud Solutions Designer

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Solutions Designer with 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture, presales and solutions engineering.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, propose and deploy cloud architecture using open-source cloud orchestrators like CloudStack, virtualization, and automation technologies in complex multi-tenant environments.
  • Engage with customers and prospects to demonstrate our cloud solutions and effectively communicate key differentiators.
  • Assist customers with initial product evaluations and testing to set the stage for successful implementation.
  • Connect technical requirements with business requirements to drive project success.
  • Respond to RFIs or RFPs, communicating product differentiators.
  • Prepare and deliver differentiated solution presentations or technical proposals.
  • Manage and/or deliver technical validation activities, including proof-of-concepts.
  • Build relationships and work with partners to identify and realize opportunities.

Required Skills:

  • Experience implementing cloud solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Thorough understanding of cloud technologies and concepts, as well as working knowledge of leading private cloud platforms like VCloud, OpenStack, or CloudStack.
  • Strong knowledge of network and application security, infrastructure hardening, security baselines, web server, and database security.
  • Excellent written communication skills and experience preparing technical proposals, RFP responses, and BoQs.
  • High-level presentation skills and composure when interacting with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced international environment.
  • Proven experience managing proof-of-concept activities in the Cloud Domain.
  • Responsible for projects and strategic initiatives, striving for standardization and simplification in all aspects of work.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant bachelor's degree.
