Senior Automation Tester

We are seeking a skilled automation tester to join our team. As an expert in testing, you will be at the forefront of ensuring high-quality releases of our platform.

  • Design and implement robust automation frameworks

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain enterprise-grade standards
About the Role:

The role involves building and maintaining YugabyteDB Anywhere - our on-premises management platform that enables customers to deploy, monitor, and manage YugabyteDB clusters in secure, enterprise-grade environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases covering cluster lifecycle management, security, networking, and platform integrations
  • Build and maintain automation frameworks for REST APIs, UI testing, and system-level workflows
  • Perform performance and scalability testing across VM-based deployments and Kubernetes environments
  • Validate enterprise-grade scenarios like backup and restore, air-gapped installs, and software upgrades
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to drive quality from design to release
  • Reproduce and debug complex issues and own the quality gates for builds and releases
Requirements:
  • 3–5 years of experience in automation testing, preferably in infrastructure or enterprise software
  • Strong programming skills in Python and Java
  • Experience testing distributed systems or microservices
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, hybrid environments, and cloud-native technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
