Financial Analyst - Equity Research Position

We seek a skilled financial analyst to conduct equity research and provide investment analysis. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting fundamental analysis using company financials, industry trends, and sectoral analysis to develop initiation and earnings update reports, sector briefs, and investment recommendations.
  • Analyzing and monitoring fund performance, NAV movements, portfolio composition, and manager strategy for PMS, AIF, and Mutual Funds.
  • Building and maintaining rigorous financial models (DCF, projections), testing assumptions, and performing scenario analyses to execute financial due diligence for new funds or investment proposals.
  • Preparing investor-ready presentations, research dashboards, and detailed write-ups, as well as delivering market commentary and fund performance summaries.
Requirements & Qualification
  • Educational Background: CFA, CA, MBA in Finance, or NISM certification for research professionals.
  • Professional Experience: 3–8 years of equity research/fund analysis experience with a preference for those with exposure to PMS, AIFs, or mutual funds.
  • Technical & Analytical Skills: Proficiency in financial modelling, valuations, and use of databases such as Probe42, MCA, NSE/BSE/SEBI website, as well as strong Excel and PowerPoint capabilities.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to work in high-pressure settings and collaborate across teams.
