Job Title: Microsoft Data and AI Platform Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced data engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building and maintaining large-scale data systems, including Azure, Power BI, and other related technologies.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain complex data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Fabric Dataflows Gen2.
  • Develop and implement data models using Power BI, including star schemas and semantic layer design.
  • Implement incremental refresh patterns and optimize data model performance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions into business workflows.
  • Collaborate with data analysts to develop reports and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Ensure data security and governance by implementing Entra ID RBAC, Key Vault, and Private Endpoints/VNET as needed.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for BI artifacts and workflow assets.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in Azure (ADLS/OneLake, ADF/Fabric), Power BI (Dataflows, DAX, RLS, Incremental Refresh), Power Automate/Logic Apps, Entra ID, Key Vault, Azure Monitor.
  • Strong background in data modeling and BI craft, including star schemas, semantic layer design, and DAX performance tuning.
  • Hands-on integration experience with secure file drops, APIs, connectors, and gateways.
  • Security and governance mindset with expertise in RBAC, secrets, tenant policies, and audit logs.
