Job Title: Senior Electrical BIM Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical BIM Designer to join our team at Ramboll. As a senior member of our drafting team, you will be responsible for coordinating with project managers, engineers, and other technicians for the technical delivery of engineering drawings for projects of varying complexity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor junior team members and work towards competence enhancement of other technicians within the team.
  • Coordinate with project managers and/or engineers for draughting work in a given project.
  • Ensure technical correctness and timely delivery of drawings and documents in your projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements, regulations, and guidelines in the industry.
  • Effectively plan and optimize resources to reduce waste, enhance productivity, and profitability.
  • Make sound decisions to perform effectively in a self-directed environment.
  • possess valuable insights and keen analysis skills to implement best practices.
  • Work in high-pressure environments with strict deadlines and multiple deliverables.
  • Have technical expertise in Revit MEP, AutoCAD MEP, Naviswork, AutoCAD, and familiar with BIM/CAD Standards, ASHRAE, ISHRAE, ACAD.
  • Assist the project team in developing and implementing draughting standards.
  • Assist in distributing work evenly within the drafting team.
  • Improve the efficiency and productivity of the drafting team.
  • Communicate training and development needs to your supervisor.
  • Exercise self-discipline and work ethics.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering or ITI Trained Professional with minimum 5 to 10 years of professional experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Revit is essential.
  • Core knowledge of Electrical & ELV.
  • Knowledge of 3D modeling tools such as Revit & Navisworks would be desirable.
  • Knowledge of 3D modeling of all services Electrical.
  • Knowledge of 3D modeling of Mechanical, plumbing will be addon.
  • Experience in preparing general arrangement drawings, experience in all stages of drawings such as Concept, Schematic, Detail design and GFC.
  • A robust knowledge of Building Services design and experience of services full co-ordination.
  • Must have knowledge of BIM/CAD standards and aware of Engineering terminology.
  • Must have experience on international projects.
  • Self-motivated, team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Flexible attitude, in an environment with frequently changing deadlines can be relied on to meet deadlines.
  • Committed to both their work and personal development, with a willingness to widen their experience, including knowledge base and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications.

Good level of written and spoken English.
