Travel Professional Job Description

We are seeking a skilled travel professional to serve as a liaison between our company and its current and potential customers. The ideal candidate will take ownership of effectively catering to their travel requirements, enhancing satisfaction and acquiring an expanding and dedicated clientele through unparalleled customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage bookings for domestic and international flights and rail services.
  • Provide expert information on products and services such as visa, foreign exchange, health regulations, and insurance.
  • Handle refunds and cancellations of domestic and international air tickets efficiently.
  • Coordinate the issuance of tickets with proper deal codes and utilize bonus miles and other rewards strategically.
  • Adhere to communication scripts when handling different topics.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients by coordinating with the implementing and servicing teams.
  • Assist in follow-up with invoicing and recoveries to ensure seamless operations.
  • Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research every issue, and provide solutions or alternatives to meet their expectations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Effective communication skills along with active listening.
  • Excellent knowledge of computer reservation systems, GDS systems, and e-traveling platforms.
  • Ability to interact, communicate, and negotiate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Capacity to multi-task, set priorities, and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Solid knowledge of domestic and international travel trends.
  • A passionate interest in geography and strong domestic and international travel knowledge.
  • Ability to assimilate information and pay close attention to accuracy and detail.
