Senior Software Development Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer with 5-9 years of experience in software development, particularly with Python and cloud-based technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable applications, with hands-on experience in cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain software applications using Python and cloud technologies.
- Collaborate with architects and team leads to design, build, and implement scalable and robust software solutions.
- Work with cloud providers like GCP and AWS to build and deploy applications.
- Utilize Airflow for workflow orchestration and PySpark for distributed data processing.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development, QA, staging, and production environments.
- Take initiative and ownership of projects, working independently when needed, with minimal supervision.
- Contribute to the team by providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior developers.
- Collaborate effectively with global teams, communicating clearly on project goals, issues, and solutions.
Required Skills:
- Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in Python.
- Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with GCP and/or AWS for deploying and managing applications.
- Workflow Orchestration: Experience with Airflow.
- Big Data Processing: Experience with PySpark or similar big data frameworks.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Self-Driven: Ability to take ownership of tasks and work independently, managing time and priorities effectively.
- Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working in global, cross-cultural teams.
