As a key contributor to our team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality features for our TruRisk Platform.

The Senior QA Automation Engineer will design and implement testing frameworks to ensure the quality of our core product capabilities, utilizing micro-services and Big Data based components.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a talented team building our next-generation platform using cutting-edge technologies like Big Data & Micro-Services, processing billions of transactions daily.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead automation efforts to achieve maximum coverage.
  • Develop automation frameworks using Java(Selenium) and automate big data workflows such as ingestion, aggregation, ETL processing, etc.
  • Debugging and troubleshooting issues within the big data ecosystem.
  • Set up the Big data platform and Hadoop ecosystem for testing.
  • Define test strategy and write test plans for data platform enhancements and new features/services.
  • Define operating procedures, service monitors, and alerts, working with the NOC team to get them implemented.
  • Responsible for system & performance testing of the data platform and applications.
  • Solve complex engineering problems, establish plans, and provide technical consultation.
  • Review product specifications, write test cases, and develop test plans for assigned areas.
  • Identify issues, suggest solutions, and contribute to Test Automation Development/Enhancement.
  • Recreate complex customer and production reported issues to determine root cause and verify fixes.
  • Maintain an automation-first attitude to reduce regression manual cycles.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in full-time testing, with 4-6 years in hands-on automation as lead.
  • Hands-on experience with Java and Selenium.
  • Experience designing automation frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience automating backend applications (database, REST API's).
  • CI-CD pipeline integration for automation frameworks.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
  • Good debugging skills and experience in Linux/Unix environments.
  • Familiarity with K8s and Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Elastic.
  • Security domain experience is an advantage.
