Senior Data Engineering Leader

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Engineering Leader to spearhead our data engineering efforts.

This key role requires an exceptional leader with extensive experience in team handling and data engineering.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead high-performing data engineering teams to deliver complex projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and adoption of cutting-edge technologies.
  • Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data integration pipelines using ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica BDM, Informatica IDQ, Informatica Cloud Services, and SnapLogic.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance by implementing robust data governance practices and leveraging expertise in databases like Oracle, Netezza, Snowflake, Azure SQL, and Hive.
  • Develop and maintain data warehouses and business intelligence systems using DAC (Data Warehouse Administrative Console), Qlik, and OBIEE.
  • Drive cloud migration initiatives and SaaS-to-Oracle SQL migrations using Azure Cloud migration services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest programming languages and optimization techniques, including advanced SQL, performance tuning, and query optimization.
  • Apply Agile methodologies, focusing on requirement analysis, test case development, production support, performance tuning, data modeling, and data validation.
  • Schedule and automate tasks using Automic, Query Surge, and Jitterbit.
  • Provide offshore/onshore team leadership, L2/L3 support, peer reviews, release management, and client communication.
Requirements
  • 14+ years of experience in data engineering and team handling.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex data engineering projects.
  • Expertise in ETL/ELT tools, databases, data warehouses, and business intelligence systems.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
