Role Overview

Job description

Key Responsibilities: As a Manufacturing Engineer 1, you will be working on innovative projects and contributing to the shaping of sustainable transportation. This involves applying your expertise in product manufacturability and achieving Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) targets.

  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve product design and development processes.
  • Specifically, you will estimate Method Time, participate in P-FMEA, and validate prototypes as needed.
  • In addition, you will request and specify tooling, perform ERP routings, Work Instructions, and Inspection Instructions, program CNC machines, and industrialize products through FAR and FAI.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field.

  • Familiarity with QCD principles and P-FMEA/FAR/FAI processes.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and CNC programming.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
