Job Title: Firewall Security Professional

  • The Firewall Security Professional would work on network security incidents, changes, and problems to support customers' security environment.
  • Implement network security solutions and provide operational support in a customer environment.
  • Configure firewall rules in Palo Alto and append the security profiles.
  • Hands-on experience with the security profiles is essential.
  • Update signatures on Palo Alto, FTD, and other firewall operations tasks.
  • Provide technical escalation to Level 1 support engineers.
  • Offer on-call support for high-severity incidents in a 24x7 environment.
  • Detect security issues, create customer tickets, and manage problems until closure.
  • Ensure that service level agreements and operational standards are met.
  • Perform system maintenance, checkups, and maintain current documentation.
  • Propose service, process, and technical improvements to management.

Required Skills:

  • Network Security Specialist skills with a focus on firewall configuration and security profile management.
  • Experience with Palo Alto firewall systems and FTD.
  • Ability to update firmware signatures and configure firewall rules.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
