About the Role:
- Conduct comprehensive credit appraisals for emerging and mid-corporate clients, assessing their creditworthiness and identifying potential risks.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize credit risk management, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
- Manage a team of credit underwriters and processing associates, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with data analytics teams to develop insights into credit risk trends and identify emerging risks.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed understanding of business models, credit risks, and working capital assessments across various industries.
- Perform field visits, promoter discussions, and credit committee presentations to evaluate loan applications.
- Review and screen cases, allocating them to CPAs and credit managers, and tracking overall credit pipelines.
- Maintain accurate records of customer onboarding, monitoring, and renewal processes.
Requirements:
- MBA/CA with 6-10 years of experience in mid-corporate, emerging corporate, and supply chain finance lending.
- Experience in assessing creditworthiness, evaluating collateral, financial statements, and credit history.
- Ability to communicate effectively with executive and C-level personnel, motivating and developing a strong team.
- Strong business acumen, problem-solving approach, and analytical skills.
