Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Test Architect to spearhead our software quality assurance efforts. As a key member of our Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality test automation frameworks, ensuring seamless integration with our CI pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive testing strategies to validate acceptance criteria within epics and user stories.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to decompose functional and nonfunctional requirements into test scripts and scenarios.
  • Determine test dependencies, including QE test environment, tools, training, build and deploy plans, and infra-team dependency.
  • Create and execute manual and automated test scripts to ensure timely delivery and risk identification.
  • Execute smoke, functional, integration, and nonfunctional test scripts as part of the project lifecycle.
  • Analyze failed test scripts to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain and enhance the automated testing suite and corresponding framework for a given application.
  • Integrate new tests into the CI pipeline and design high-quality test automation frameworks.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in creating and executing automated test scripts to validate acceptance criteria.
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines and operating under tight time constraints.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to articulate complex ideas effectively.
  • Demonstrated experience in making presentations to different audiences and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Technical Competencies

  • 5+ years of experience as a Software Development Test Engineer in API/UI/mobile automation.
  • Experience in testing with XML and web-based SOAP/RESTful services.
  • Technical expertise in Java 17+, SQL, and Testing Frameworks (TestNG, JUNIT, Cucumber).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a close-knit team environment.
  • Experience with backend testing, writing SQL queries, and knowledge of Cross-browser testing using Selenium Grid, Browser Stack, Sauce Labs, etc.
