As a Sensor and Machine Vision Engineer, you will embark on a challenging journey to develop cutting-edge solutions for factories in need of efficient automation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and prototype innovative sensor setups using laser line profilers, displacement sensors, ultrasonic probes, and cameras
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to select and integrate hardware components
  • Develop robust mechanical setups (mounts, fixtures, enclosures) that withstand harsh industrial environments
  • Support integration with DAQ tools, PLCs, and OpenCV scripts
  • Conduct pilot deployments across customer sites in India, ensuring seamless execution and troubleshooting

Success Metrics:

  • Ability to design and implement functional sensor setups in challenging factory environments
  • Quick identification and resolution of issues during pilot deployments
  • Effective communication of project progress and challenges to stakeholders
  • Delivery of usable data and insights to customers through your contributions
  • Focus on practical problem-solving rather than purely theoretical approaches

We're seeking an experienced professional with:

  • 3+ years of experience in sensors, automation, or machine vision
  • In-depth knowledge of laser triangulation, ultrasonic NDT, or machine vision systems
  • Practical mechanical setup design skills (mounts, fixtures, enclosures)
  • Basic proficiency in Python, OpenCV, DAQ tools, and PLC connections
  • Comfortable working in high-heat/industrial environments
  • Based in India, with flexibility to travel for deployments
  • Availability for approximately 20 hours per week (flexible schedule)
