Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process payroll for all employees on a timely basis.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data within HRIS/payroll systems.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and internal policies to prevent potential issues.
  • Coordinate with the HR department for employee onboarding/offboarding, promotions, and other payroll-impacting changes.
  • Handle payroll deductions, benefits, garnishments, bonuses, and other compensation-related components in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Prepare payroll reports for internal use and external audits to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, taxes, and earnings in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with Finance to reconcile payroll-related accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Assist with year-end activities such as tax form distribution (e.g., W-2) to ensure compliance.
  • Stay updated with changes in payroll laws and regulations to maintain knowledge and skills.
