Job Overview

• This role involves overseeing the implementation of livelihood activities across various projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing the technical quality of project interventions, developing detailed implementation plans and budgets, and coordinating with Director – Social Additionality.

• Project Operations and Learning:
  • Support project leads/teams to effectively implement livelihood activities aligned with the project design, activity plan, and quality standards.
  • Enhance the technical quality of project interventions through regular coordination with the Director – Social Additionality.
• Enterprise Development:
  • Establish women-led Plastic Collection Centers and Collection Points within waste collector communities.
  • Launch e-tricycle-based plastic waste collection initiatives for informal waste collectors.
• Capacity Building:
  • Organize entrepreneurship awareness and development programs for beneficiaries.
• Reporting and Documentation:
  • Log key performance indicators (KPIs) into the PFC platform for monitoring.
• General Responsibilities:
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism and prioritize tasks effectively.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work/Sciences, Entrepreneurship Development, or related fields is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience managing livelihood or income generation programs in the social sector is necessary.
• Experience in social business development is highly desirable.
• Prior experience working with informal sectors and vulnerable workforce is a must.
