Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a seasoned Senior Physical Design Engineering Leader to spearhead our physical design efforts and drive innovation in the field of electronic design automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a team of experienced physical design engineers, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure they achieve their full potential.
  • Evaluate new tools and technologies to drive efficiency and productivity in our design process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex design issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of industry-leading EDA tools and methodologies.
  • Prioritize tasks and allocate resources to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in leading physical design teams and managing complex design projects.
  • Proven track record of driving innovation and implementing best practices in physical design.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Mastery of industry-leading EDA tools and methodologies, including place-and-route, static timing analysis, formal verification, and power analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with lower tech nodes (40nm, 28nm or lesser) and handling large-scale designs (1M instances and above).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (TCL or Perl) and ability to develop custom scripts for automation purposes.
  • Familiarity with Synthesis and Formal tools and methodologies.
