Content Specialist

Job Description:

We seek a skilled Content Specialist to develop engaging content for social media platforms. As a key member of our communication team, you will be responsible for creating culturally relevant content that effectively communicates political messages and ideologies.

Main Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality content aligned with the campaign goals.
  • Develop and manage social media assets independently, taking ownership of content creation, curation, and scheduling across platforms.
  • Edit and refine content as needed to ensure high-quality output.
  • Collaborate with the communication team to develop strategic messaging.
  • Foster active engagement with audiences by understanding their sentiments.
  • Utilize multimedia elements to enhance the visual appeal of content.
  • Stay updated on political trends and cultural nuances in India, incorporating these insights into the content strategy.
  • Maintain seamless collaboration with graphic designers and other team members.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of content, using data to optimize strategies.

Requirements

  • 2-6 years of experience in content creation, copywriting, and strategic communication.
  • Proficient in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in content creation, with a portfolio demonstrating the ability to craft engaging content.
  • In-depth understanding of various social media platforms and trends.
  • A keen interest in Indian politics, with an understanding of regional political dynamics, ideologies, and current affairs.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh and innovative ideas for content.
  • Capable of independently managing social media assets and content calendars.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing political scenarios.

Education Criteria

  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, or Political Science is preferred.
  • Specialization or Coursework: Candidates with specialization or coursework in Content Creation, Digital Marketing, or Political Communication would be advantageous.
  • Language Proficiency: Proficiency in Tamil (Write, Speak, Read) and Hindi/English is essential.
