Project Management Specialist Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Specialist to lead and manage project teams, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of fabrication practices, manufacturing techniques, and scheduling for Skid Modules.

Responsibilities include organizing and leading multiple projects across various plants, achieving high customer satisfaction levels, and establishing clear objectives with cost-effectiveness.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and oral communication skills, working knowledge of computers (MS Office), and commercial/contractual terms.

Additionally, the successful candidate should have a deep understanding of ASME, IBR, and EN codes, as well as knowledge and certification in Prime Vera, MS Project, and experience in Process Licensing.

  1. Lead and Manage Project Teams: Lead and manage project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  2. Deep Understanding of Fabrication Practices: Deep understanding of fabrication practices, manufacturing techniques, and scheduling for Skid Modules.
  3. Organize and Lead Multiple Projects: Organize and lead multiple projects across multiple plants.
  4. Customer Satisfaction: Achieve high customer satisfaction levels through effective planning and production schedules.
  5. Establish Clear Objectives: Establish clear objectives, standards, and production schedules with cost-effectiveness.
  6. Resource Organization: Organize resources for various projects, including production, planning, and maintenance activities.
  7. Knowledge of Codes: Knowledge of ASME, IBR, and EN codes, as well as lean manufacturing techniques.
  8. Commercial Aspects: Manage commercial aspects, contract conditions, and milestone payments.
  9. Material Requirements Planning: Oversee material requirements planning (MRP) and mitigate material risks.
  10. Interdepartmental Collaboration: Coordinate with design, projects, purchase, and shop production planning teams to align with monthly production plans.
  11. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in vendor development and selection.
  12. Problem-Solving: Participate in root cause analysis and collaborate on corrective and preventive strategies with operations and procurement teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of computers (MS Office) and commercial/contractual terms.
  • Deep understanding of ASME, IBR, and EN codes.
  • Knowledge and certification in Prime Vera, MS Project, and experience in Process Licensing.
  • Ability to review and analyze MTO, drawings, and technical documents to identify scope of work.
