Senior Technology Leader

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader with a strong background in IT operations, software development, and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technology Strategy & Innovation:
    • Develop and implement technology strategies to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the user experience.
    • Lead digital transformation initiatives, leveraging AI, automation, and cloud computing to expand ministry reach.
    • Manage API integrations, cloud-based platforms, websites, and mobile apps for seamless user experience.
  • IT Infrastructure & Operations:
    • Supervise IT infrastructure teams for cloud and on-premise server management, networks, and telecom systems.
    • Oversee Tele Prayer Tower systems ensuring high uptime, scalability, and minimal call drops.
    • Ensure 24/7 connectivity across all Prayer Towers and remote teams.
  • Cybersecurity & Surveillance:
    • Establish robust cybersecurity frameworks to protect prayer data, donor/partner information, and ministry systems.
    • Set up and manage cloud-based CCTV surveillance systems across 104 Prayer Towers, integrating live feeds into a central monitoring dashboard.
  • Database & Analytics:
    • Lead database management teams for high-performance, secure, and scalable systems.
    • Design data-driven dashboards for partner engagement, prayer requests, and outreach metrics.
  • Leadership & Collaboration:
    • Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary IT team across India.
    • Partner with Prayer Tower leaders, Media, Finance, HR, and Ministry operations to enable technology-driven solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership in large-scale IT operations across multi-location organizations.
  • Expertise in software development, app ecosystems, DevOps, and emerging technologies.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of networking, cloud systems (AWS/Azure), and CCTV cloud monitoring.
  • Strong command over cybersecurity frameworks (SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, IAM, firewalls, endpoint security, encryption).
  • Vendor & contract management with focus on cost-efficiency and ROI.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to align IT with ministry growth & outreach goals.
  • Strong communication and team management skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 10+ years of IT leadership experience (NGO/Non-Profit/Telecom/Enterprise IT background desirable).
  • Certifications: PMP/PRINCE2 (Project Management), AWS/Azure (Cloud), CISSP/CEH (Cybersecurity) preferred.
