Procurement Manager Job Description

The Procurement Manager role is a key position in our organization, responsible for leading the sourcing and procurement of Raw Materials (RM) and Packaging Materials (PM). As a strategic thinker, you will develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.

This role requires strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. You will work closely with R&D and NPD teams to onboard new vendors and negotiate contracts. Additionally, you will monitor market trends and forecast price movements to manage budgets.

  • Sourcing and Procurement: Develop and execute sourcing strategies to meet business needs.
  • Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential vendors.
  • Negotiation and Contracting: Lead negotiations with vendors to secure the best prices and terms.
  • Supply Chain Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure business continuity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or Supply Chain, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • 6–8 years of relevant experience in RM/PM Procurement, preferably in Food, FMCG, or Manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier management skills.
  • Ability to lead procurement projects and influence cross-functional teams.
