Diesel Propulsion Engineer

As a highly skilled Diesel Propulsion Engineer, you will be responsible for approving diesel engines on OEM vehicles, with a focus on engine and machine integration activities. You will have expertise in troubleshooting diesel engines using DTC codes, as well as understanding engine control mechanisms through calibration on CRDI engines.

Additionally, you will have experience in handling after-treatment systems, including comprehensive knowledge of engine/vehicle system architecture, including all sensors. You will also have a good understanding of engine design and the ability to resolve engineering issues using recognized methodologies.

Furthermore, you will have experience in delivering engine programs and understanding new product development phases.

• Experience in Diesel Emission Programs, preferably off-highway segment
• Hardcore experience in approving diesel engines on OEM vehicles
• Engine trouble shooting (problem solving through DTC codes)
• Understanding of engine control mechanism through calibration on CRDI Engines
• Experience in handling after-treatment system
• Comprehensive knowledge of engine/vehicle system architecture including all sensors
• Good understanding on Engine design
• Understand system and component specifications and design
• Resolve engineering issues using recognized methodologies
• Understands the New product development Phases & have experience of delivering Engine Programs

Candidates should possess excellent writing and verbal communication skills, with experience in handling teams. Working with global teams is an advantage, and experience working with top leadership is essential.
