Job Title: Vocational Trainer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Vocational Trainer to join our team. As a Vocational Trainer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs that enhance the employability, self-reliance, and social integration of differently-abled individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Training Delivery: Develop and implement tailored training plans to equip trainees with vocational skills such as tailoring, computer literacy, crafts, electrical, and carpentry.
• Needs Assessment: Assess the strengths, interests, and limitations of trainees to design individualized training plans that cater to their unique needs.
• Adaptation and Innovation: Modify teaching methods, tools, and materials to suit special needs learners with visual, hearing, intellectual, and physical disabilities.
• Lifelong Learning: Encourage the development of life skills and soft skills, including communication, teamwork, and time management.
• Safe and Inclusive Environment: Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive workshop-classroom environment that fosters learning and growth.
• Record Keeping and Feedback: Maintain accurate training records, progress reports, and provide regular feedback to trainees and parents/guardians.
• Collaboration and Networking: Coordinate with rehabilitation specialists, therapists, and employers for holistic development and placement support.
• Exposure and Placement: Facilitate exposure visits, internships, and on-the-job training opportunities to enhance trainee experience and employment prospects.
• Motivation and Empowerment: Motivate trainees to build confidence and pursue independent living and employment.
