Chief Financial Officer

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Leader to spearhead our finance function and drive business growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning, analysis, and strategy. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Analyzing financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Collaborating with department heads to create departmental budgets and ensure alignment with overall organizational goals.
  • Evaluating financial performance against budget and providing variance analysis.
  • Preparing and presenting accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses to stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
  • Overseeing internal controls and processes to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Coordinating and managing external audits and examinations.
  • Identifying opportunities for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and risk mitigation.
  • Developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and controls to support business objectives and ensure financial integrity.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Indian GAAP, including IndAS.
  • Timely closure of books every month and Investor reporting.
  • Experience in cash flow and working capital management.
  • Effective implementation of processes.
  • Experience in managing Big 4 auditors.
  • Experience in implementation of ERP.
  • Team management experience: should have managed a team of at least 5-10 employees.
  • Qualifications and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
    • CA qualification is mandatory.
    • CS, CPA, CFA CMA are a plus.
    • 10+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity. Experience in Manufacturing / Engineering organizations is a plus.
    • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proven ability to lead and develop a team.
    • Understanding of US GAAP and Indian GAAP, including IndAS accounting standards.
    • Strategic thinking and business acumen.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities effectively.
