Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced automation engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in test automation using Selenium WebDriver with Java and experience with Maven, Git, and Jenkins.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks, creating reusable components and libraries for test automation, collaborating with development and QA teams, and integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines.

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
  • Create reusable components and libraries for test automation.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test requirements and implement scalable solutions.
  • Develop and execute UI, API, and integration test cases.
  • Perform code reviews, mentor junior team members, and enforce automation best practices.
  • Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
  • Investigate test failures, analyze logs, and assist in root cause analysis.
  • Maintain documentation for test architecture, processes, and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java.
  • Good understanding of TestNG or JUnit frameworks.
  • Experience with Maven, Git, and Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of Page Object Model (POM) and data-driven testing.
  • Hands-on experience with REST API automation (e.g., using RestAssured).
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with tools like Allure, ExtentReports, or Log4j.
