Senior Security Strategist: Cloud Services & Information Assurance

This role involves implementing and managing comprehensive security programs across the organization.

  • We are seeking an experienced security expert to lead our team in strengthening our organization's security posture, ensuring compliance with global standards, and serving as a key liaison with clients regarding our security protocols.
Responsibilities:
  1. Security Program Implementation: Lead the development and execution of security controls, procedures, and protocols across the organization.
  2. Compliance Oversight: Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant frameworks and regulations, including ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, and others as applicable.
  3. Internal Auditing & Follow-Up: Conduct internal reviews of security practices, identify gaps or vulnerabilities, and ensure timely remediation.
  4. Policy & Procedure Management: Review, update, and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to maintain a robust security posture.
  5. Client Engagement: Meet with prospective and current clients to explain our security protocols, address concerns, and support compliance-related inquiries.
  6. Risk Identification & Mitigation: Proactively identify risks and recommend practical solutions to mitigate threats.
  7. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear and comprehensive records of security activities, compliance status, and improvement initiatives.
  8. Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing enhancements to the organization's security framework and practices.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 7 years in information security, compliance, or risk management.
  • Strong background in implementing and managing security programs aligned with global standards.
  • Experience communicating technical security concepts to clients and stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.
Technical Skills:
  • Deep understanding of information security principles, technologies, and best practices (e.g., access control, network security, data encryption, incident response).
  • Familiarity with enterprise IT environments, cloud services, and BPO operational models.
  • Knowledge of U.S. security standards and regulatory requirements.
Preferred Certifications:

CISA, CISSP, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Auditor, or similar.

  • Leadership and initiative.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results on time.
