Technical Project Management Director

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal leadership and business to identify customer needs and develop capabilities to meet those needs.
  • Define product features and capabilities to meet customer requirements, working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including scrum teams, product leads, and delivery leads.
  • Ensure the overall product strategy and roadmap are executed effectively.
  • Partner with Engineering Lead to drive budget decisions at the scrum team/product level.
  • Support and manage the product backlog and prioritization.
  • Decompose capabilities into manageable features/user stories and ensure they're tied to Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
  • Understand the infrastructure, technology, and flow of product in a Data Warehousing environment.
  • Positively influence outcomes across complex capabilities and initiatives.
  • Facilitate resolutions and make decisions.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience working as a Product Owner in healthcare and technology.
  • 8+ years of collaborating with stakeholders, partners, and gathering requirements, working with cross-functional teams.
  • 3+ years of Agile Methodology and Tools experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in current technology, databases, technical solutioning, working with SQL, understanding relational databases and data structures within a healthcare setting.
  • 3+ years of experience honing analytical skills, troubleshooting issues, and providing recommendations to upper management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with technical Product management.
  • Proven excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to present ideas in a clear, concise, and consistent manner across the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to build excellent relationships across a variety of stakeholders.
  • In-depth understanding of agile/lean product management best practices and frameworks.
  • Fluent in Rally or equivalent Agile tools.
