Key Role: Governance and Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced engineer to develop a governance and automation platform that enforces best practices in software development.

This is a remote position requiring strong Python skills with emphasis on testing frameworks and automation.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing a framework similar to a testing suite that validates code and practices, ensuring adherence to established standards.
  • Integrating with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development process.
  • Building systems for rule validation, documentation, and reporting to facilitate compliance and decision-making.
  • Ensuring effective governance across large organizations by implementing and enforcing governance standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong background in Python programming with emphasis on testing frameworks and automation.
  • Experience integrating with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines to optimize the development lifecycle.
  • Ability to design and implement systems for rule validation, documentation, and reporting.
  • Backend experience with databases (SQL), automation, and data pipelines.
