Cloud Data Modelling Lead

This role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Cloud Data Modeller to lead the design and implementation of scalable data models in Snowflake, with support for regional extensions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable data models in Snowflake, with support for regional extensions
  • Define and document enterprise-level core data model changes, embedding business logic
  • Lead data modelling workshops with stakeholders to align business, engineering, and BI needs
  • Provide technical guidance to developers, review outputs, and assign modelling-related tasks
  • Optimize models for performance, quality, governance, and compliance
  • Collaborate with BI teams to ensure semantic consistency and enable self-service analytics

The ideal candidate will have 5 years experience in data modelling, with 3 years in a senior lead role. Expertise in designing enterprise-level data models for cloud data platforms, Snowflake preferred.

Required Skills:
  • Experience with DevOps practices and version control tools
  • Knowledge of metadata management, data lineage, and cataloguing
  • Strong understanding of data privacy, governance, and RBAC
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and communication skills
