Cloud Infrastructure Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Administrator to join our team.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • - Administer and monitor AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases, and Lambda functions.
  • - Develop and maintain high-availability and disaster recovery solutions using backup software such as Veeam, AWS Snapshots, Commvault, and Backup Exec.
  • - Oversee automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud and on-premises resources.
  • - Analyze system performance, identify trends, and implement improvements to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency utilizing monitoring platforms like Datadog, Orion, Nagios, and WhatsUp Gold.
  • - Implement security best practices and compliance standards to protect cloud environments.
  • - Administer company SaaS platforms, ensuring user productivity with tools like Okta and AWS Workspaces.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:

  • Educational Requirements:
  • - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:
  • - Minimum of 2 years of experience implementing and managing AWS cloud solutions.
  • - Minimum of 2 years of experience administering Okta.
  • - Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • - Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
  • - Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Soft Skills:
  • - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments.
  • - Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
