Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Oracle E-Business Suite financials professional to join our team.

This role will involve working on various finance modules, supporting business solutions within the defined Software Development Lifecycle.

You will collaborate with other developers and team members in testing and debugging software programs and enhancements to meet project goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expertise on Oracle EBS (SME) Financials, specifically GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, and SLA.
  • Maintaining hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 and strong knowledge of Oracle Financials.
  • Configuring Oracle EBS Modules, including GL, AP, AR, FA, and CM.
  • Participating in Oracle EBS to Cloud migration or upgrade initiatives.
  • Driving issue resolution and root cause analysis across P2P and O2C business cycles.
  • Diagnosing and resolving complex application issues, working with clients, other IT departments, and suppliers as needed.
  • Working independently to recreate problems and identify necessary fixes using various software tools and resources.
  • Managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and providing Tier-3 functional support when required.
  • Supporting key business processes, including Month end and Year end support activities for business users.
  • Collaborating with business and technology managers to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Proficient in writing Functional Design Documents.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of functional consulting experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financials.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Financials and Accounting Hub (FAH).
  • Experience supporting revenue recognition processes, billing processes, generating invoices, resolving billing/Revenue Management issues, and ensuring accurate revenue recognition.
  • Proficient in end-to-end business cycles, including P2P and O2C Cycle.
  • Skilled in preparing BR100, MD50, TE40, and functional test scripts.
  • Possess technical skills in SQL, PL/SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Standard and Custom interfaces.
  • Hands-on experience in month end closing support.
  • Should have good experience of Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices.
  • Hands-on experience with integration tools and middleware (preferred).
  • Experience with Oracle 12.2 Upgrades.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
  • Ability to clearly describe end-to-end business processes and key integration points, work cross-functionally across different business processes within an organization, and knowledge of challenges faced by implementation teams.
