Bounteous is seeking a skilled Marketing Automation Platform Developer to join our growing Martech Engineering team. This role involves collaborating with a large, cross-functional team of developers, solution architects, marketing strategists, and digital marketing specialists to create innovative digital customer experiences. As such, the ideal candidate will be dynamic, flexible, and have a strong affinity toward data and process.

This position requires knowledge of industry trends, marketing automation enablement, campaign best practices, data management best practices, and associated digital marketing technologies. The ideal candidate should possess a desire to continually learn, improve, and apply subject matter expertise to individual client needs.

About Information Security:

  • Awareness of information security measures, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security
  • Understanding and reporting security risks and their impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
  • Understanding data storage, processing, and transmission from a Data privacy and protection standpoint

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop deep knowledge of each client's business and available data to ensure campaign solutions meet client objectives
  • Translate business and technical requirements provided by marketing strategists and campaign specialists into detailed solutions for cross-channel campaign execution across marketing automation, journey orchestration, CDP, loyalty, and offer management platforms
  • Support in-platform development and execution of digital marketing campaigns across channels (email, SMS, push, in-app, etc.)
  • Serve as day-to-day technical platform SME to internal and client teams for platform troubleshooting, training, and knowledge share
  • Support Platform Architects with platform configuration, development, and optimization tasks and enforcing best practices
  • Campaign QA, testing, and deployment support to other developers, campaign specialists, and QA resources
  • Work closely with project management team to manage workflow and deadlines across multiple, simultaneous campaign projects and change controls
  • Provide support to senior team members throughout project estimation and platform discovery engagements, as needed
  • Support internal execution services team for ongoing campaign platform, workflow, and template optimizations, as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 3-5+ years experience in Software Development working with data-driven applications
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working with AJO preferred
  • AJO certification preferred
  • Experienced data modeler in relational database systems
  • Experienced writing SQL queries for Select/Insert/Update/Delete, including multi-table joins and outer joins
  • Experience with JavaScript, JSON, and XML
  • Experience or familiarity with HTML, MJML, CSS, and responsive email coding a plus
  • Agency experience preferred, with experience in a client-facing role and knowledge of overall agency structures and agile project management methodologies
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with industry-leading campaign orchestration platforms a plus (such as Adobe Campaign, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Marketo or similar)

The estimated salary for this position is around $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
