As a seasoned accounting professional, this role offers the opportunity to excel in managing financial activities and ensuring timely reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the finance team and other departments to address complex accounting matters.
  • Protect sensitive information by maintaining confidentiality.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reconciliations and financial reporting.
Financial Operations
  • Oversee daily accounting functions, including journal entries and ledger maintenance.
  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Taxation & Compliance
  • Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Returns, etc.).
  • Handle TDS/TCS compliance and return filings.
  • Ensure timely filing of Professional Tax (PT) and Provident Fund (PF) returns.
Financial Reporting & Budgeting
  • Develop monthly MIS reports, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.
  • Create monthly budgets aligned with business requirements.
  • Adhere to applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
Banking & Treasury
  • Reconcile bank accounts and manage banking transactions.
  • Process payroll disbursements, vendor payments, and statutory dues.

To succeed in this role, you should possess strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax laws, proficiency in Zoho Books and Microsoft Navision, advanced Excel skills, analytical thinking, and effective communication abilities.

Prior experience in mid-to-large organizations or a CA firm is preferred.
