Job Description

As a Golang Backend Engineer Intern, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for designing and implementing scalable backend services and APIs.

The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in computer science, with experience in backend development concepts, RESTful APIs, and databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in building and maintaining high-performance backend services using Golang.
  • Collaborate with the development team on system design and implementation.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Participate in code reviews and debugging sessions.
  • Learn and apply software development best practices.
  • Contribute to internal tools, libraries, or product features as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications

For this role, we are looking for candidates who possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Programming Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of Golang or strong willingness to learn it.
  • Backend Development Experience:
  • Familiarity with backend development concepts and RESTful APIs.
  • Databases:
  • Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Cloud Platforms:
  • Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
  • Portfolio:
  • Portfolio or GitHub projects using Go or other programming languages.
  • Version Control:
  • Experience with Git and version control workflows.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
