Video Editor Role Description

A mid-level Video Editor will handle end-to-end editing for diverse video projects—marketing, social media, product demos, testimonials, and branded content.

The role requires experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically professional to intermediate proficiency in Premiere Pro and intermediate to basic knowledge of After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

  • Collaborate with creative leads and motion designers to meet project requirements and brand standards
  • Incorporate graphics, music, audio mixing, sound effects, transitions, captions, and colour grading to enhance video impact
  • Review and implement feedback on drafts to produce final cuts within deadlines

Responsibilities:

  • Organise and manage video assets and files for efficient workflow
  • Stay updated with industry trends and new editing techniques
  • Maintain a consistent style and brand voice across all videos

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Media or related field
  • 2-3 years' hands-on experience with professional video editing
  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe suites such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Sound knowledge of colour correction, audio editing, and motion graphics
