Job Description

To lead a team of scientists and deliver projects involving complex chemistry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage NCE development projects, including route scouting, feasibility, and screening.
  • Develop and optimize processes for mid to late phase intermediates and APIs.
  • Ensure the safe working of the team in a laboratory environment.
  • Monitor project scope and scope changes.
  • Guide and supervise a team of scientists in designing process research and development approaches, experiment and analysis planning, data generation, and analytical requirements.
  • Adopt new technologies to solve problems and accelerate delivery.
  • Compile data and prepare weekly project updates, process development reports, and technical transfer documents.
  • Interact with AR&D, Process Engineers, and Program Managers.
  • Participate in tech transfer activities and visit plants during tech transfer.
Requirements:
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience in process development and optimization.
  • Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols.
