Job Title:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation Expert to manage and oversee all activities related to automation projects in the industry. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of automation systems, including PLCs, Drives, CNC systems, DCS, PCS, Electrical Panels, and Instrumentation Panels.

About the Role:

  • Automation Project Management: Manage all activities related to automation project costing, ensuring accurate and timely final costing.
  • Expert Product Knowledge: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of automation products, systems (PLC, Drives, CNC, DCS, PCS), electrical and instrumentation panels.
  • Independent Costing & Team Handling: Take ownership of costing tasks and deliverables while leading a team of engineers.
  • Technical Discussions & Support: Conduct technical discussions with clients, internal teams, and vendors to finalize requirements, configurations, and costs.
  • Team Coordination & Reporting: Provide regular status reports to management regarding project progress, costing, and potential issues.
  • Knowledge of Automation Products & Switchgear: Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in automation, electrical panels, and switchgear.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for interacting with both internal teams and external customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of automation systems and products.
  • Proficiency in project costing and budgeting.
  • Experience with PLC, Drives, DCS, PCS, and instrumentation panels.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team.
  • Excellent technical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle technical discussions and negotiations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Candidate should be proactive, result-oriented, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Prior experience in automation product costing is highly preferred.
  • Hands on MS Excel. If have experience in SIEPAN or SIECOST software would be more preferable.

Qualification: BE Electrical/ Electronics/Instrumentation

Experience: 6 to 7 years
