About the Role

Ciklum is seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our global internal IT team in Chennai or Pune. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.

Responsibilities
  • Manage, maintain, and optimize Windows Server environments to ensure server availability, performance, and security.
  • Design, implement, and manage Azure-based infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Administer Hyper-V environments, including virtual machine configuration, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Implement and manage backup solutions, such as Veeam, to ensure data protection and business continuity.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and conduct regular DR tests to ensure readiness.
  • Deploy, configure, and manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, such as Endpoint Central, to ensure secure and efficient device management.
  • Implement, configure, and manage ESET antivirus solutions to ensure endpoint security.
  • Administer and manage Google Workspace, including user account management, security configurations, and integration with other tools and systems.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring tools to track infrastructure performance, availability, and security.
  • Analyze performance metrics and logs to identify areas for improvement and take proactive measures to prevent issues.
Requirements
  • Education: Higher Special with technical specialization.
  • Foreign languages: English Upper intermediate.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar infrastructure engineering role.
  • Extensive experience in managing and maintaining Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and server performance tuning.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including deployment, management, and security best practices.
  • Experience with Azure AD, Azure Backup, and Azure Site Recovery.
  • Proficiency in managing Hyper-V environments, including virtual machine configuration, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Expertise with Veeam or similar backup and disaster recovery solutions, ensuring data protection and business continuity.
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, such as Endpoint Central, including deployment, configuration, and management of devices.
  • Solid understanding and experience with endpoint security solutions, specifically ESET antivirus, including installation, configuration, and ongoing management.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and firewall management.
  • Experience with log collection and analysis systems, such as the ELK Stack, to monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and applications.
  • Proficiency in using monitoring tools, such as Zabbix, to track infrastructure performance, availability, and security.
  • Experience with Google Workspace administration, including user management, security settings, and integration with other tools and systems.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, such as PowerShell, to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
  • Ability to create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
